Bridges to Learning Conference 2009
Pre-Conference Workshop

From wikis to digital storytelling, and from the Flip to the Kindle, this workshop will explore emerging tools and pedagogies that can help “move” the literacy skills of all students. We’ll begin by looking at our students and valuing the literacies they bring to our classrooms. Then, we'll move to consider specific classroom applications that leverage the unique capacities and "two-ness" of web 2.0 tools and practices. By the close of our work together, we'll have also built and grown a personal learning network designed to help encourage and spur our thinking in the days, weeks, and months to come.
